Race to Nowhere returns for the 24th year as a stationary bike race for all ability levels, recognizing outstanding speed and fundraising feats.


Put on by the Friends of the MS Achievement Center, Race to Nowhere proceeds support the weekly MS Achievement Center program. This wellness program for individuals living with progressed MS provides physical and occupational therapy, recreation and social support in a safe, welcoming environment. Participants optimize their quality of life through wellness of body, mind and spirit.

What do you do with the money raised?

Every dollar raised through the Race to Nowhere is used to provide programs and services for people with advanced MS. The MS Achievement Center (MSAC) provides physical and occupational therapy, cognitive stimulation and support to over 70 people with advanced multiple sclerosis.

What safety protocols are in place for the race?

Participants, volunteers and spectators must either be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 or show negative Covid-19 test within 72 hours of Race to Nowhere.

Is there someone who can help me set up my fundraising page?

Absolutely! We would be happy to help in any way we can. Simply email msac@kumc.edu or call 913-588-8668. 


Can I raise money for a specific person at MSAC?

IRS regulations prohibit us from designating donations to a specific person. On a personal level, our members are so supportive of each other! They would love to have their friends donations supporting all members of the MSAC! But you can select a fundraiser to credit your donation to for Race to Nowhere.

When do you announce the winners?

Winners will be announced during a livestream on Monday, Feb. 28. The link will be emailed to all participants and posted on our Facebook page.
