Race to Nowhere - What a Win!
Riders, friends, family, volunteers, cheerleaders - all gathered Saturday, Feb. 25 to raise funds for the MSAC! The bikes may go nowhere, but Race to Nowhere participants help create a place for people with MS to go for connection, support and resources!
WE BEAT OUR FUNDRAISING GOAL! Thank you to everyone for RAISING YOUR HANDS

Put on by the Friends of the MS Achievement Center, Race to Nowhere proceeds support the weekly MS Achievement Center program which provides physical and occupational therapy, cognitive and creative activities, and social and emotional connection in a safe and welcoming environment. Participants optimize their quality of life through wellness of body, mind and spirit.

FAQs:
-
What do you do with the money raised?
Every dollar raised through Race to Nowhere provides programs and services for people with progressed MS. -
How do I put together a team for Race to Nowhere?
When you register, you will pick a 30-minute time slot, create your team name and add additional team members. You can create a team fundraising page, or each member of your team can sign up as a fundraiser. Then tell everyone you know! -
How does Race Day work?
Participants sign up for a 30-minute time slot to ride a stationary bike or use adaptive equipment. Individuals can participate or join up with others to form teams of up to 10 people. The Race is timed. You can be as competitive as you want to be - or just cruise along at your own speed. Top finishers by individual distances within age groups and top teams based on team average receive prizes and medals. -
Can I set up a fundraising page or make a donation even if I don't register to ride?
Yes to both! Prizes also awarded to the top fundraisers. -
Can I raise money for a specific MSAC member?
IRS regulations prohibit us from designating donations to a specific person. But if an MSAC member has a fundraising page, you can support their efforts by making a donation through their team. -
Where do I park if I’m riding in Race to Nowhere?
The P1 parking garage to the east of Kirmayer will be available for participant and volunteer parking. -
I would love to volunteer for this event!
We would love that too! Race to Nowhere volunteers are needed for a variety of tasks – some for an hour, some for the entirety of the Race and everything in between! Please email Erin Major, MSAC Program Manager. -
