2020 has been a rough year for all of us. We have had to adapt to new restrictions and our ability to gather with others has been limited. This global pandemic has brought about a great deal of fear and uncertainty.
This is much like what people with MS experience throughout the course of their disease. No one can give someone newly diagnosed with MS a clear picture of how their disease will progress. We have more information every day and do a better job of managing the progression of the disease than we used to. However, the reality is, there are still a lot of things we don’t know about MS.
What we do know is that people with MS are experiencing exceptional isolation and loss of independence every day.
Joining the MS Achievement Center takes people with MS from isolation and increasing disability to deep connection and a life of quality and purpose.
The weekly opportunity to come together with others who have MS is invaluable. Learning and practicing techniques each week to maintain and adapt daily routines helps our members maintain their independence.
Because of your support, the MS Achievement Center is stepping into the gap and connecting people with MS; providing tools, expertise and practice to give back the independence taken by MS.
Will you donate today to support our MS Achievement Center members?
